here i will tell you how to add vehicles with notepad.
first have your map extracted to c:f1942

the 2 files we will be messing with are in the conquest folder..objectspawns.con and objectspawntemplates.con

now open the objectspawntemplates.con first using notepad
it will list all the templates for the vehicles

now say you wanted to add another class of fighter plane..it would look like this

now copy just this from the objectspawntemplate.con and paste it at the bottom of the list and then change it to look like this (add the 2 to the end where shown )

ok your done with that now so click on the red X and save

now open objectspawn.con with notepad

now look for the fighterspawner in the list and copy and paste it at the bottom of that list and it will look like this

now i use map editor 1.2 ...now open map editor 1.2 and open the map your doing and look for the green vehicle square with 2 right next to each other and thats your new vehicle...now move to where you want it and pack up your map and the new vehicle should be there...i do this because if i use map editor 1.2 to add vehicles they dont show up in the game...this will be a little confusing at first but once you get it you'll like it for adding more aircraft to maps..with the current way you can only add 2 planes in the fighter class...now you can add more...i just finished a training map that has all BF1942 aircraft and DC aircraft in 1 map...e-mail me if you need any help and rewording of this tutorial if i need too...
